Becamex IDC Investment and Industrial Development Corporation (Vietnam) and Sembcorp Development LTD (Singapore) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation to Develop 5 Industrial Parks within the next 3 years, with a total investment of up to 1 billion USD.

The Government Newspaper announced on February 10 the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between Becamex IDC (Vietnam) and Sembcorp Development LTD (Singapore) in Singapore. This cooperation aims to form and develop 5 industrial parks with green, smart and sustainable designs in Vietnam.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited Singapore as part of a visit to celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations and 10 years of strategic partnership between the two countries.

Over the next 3 years, Becamex IDC and Sembcorp Development LTD have agreed to cooperate in forming and developing 5 industrial parks with green, smart and sustainable planning designs in Vietnam. The total expected investment capital to implement these projects is nearly 1 billion USD.
