Investment incentives policy

Investment projects in Dinh Vu – Cat Hai Economic Zone are implemented according to a quick and convenient investment registration process to be granted an Investment Registration Certificate and enjoy incentives applicable to areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions according to the provisions of the Investment Law, Land Law, Corporate Income Tax Law, Import and Export Tax Law, Cooperative Law and other provisions of tax law, specifically:

  • Corporate income tax: Cooperatives and newly established businesses from investment projects are entitled to a corporate income tax rate of 10% applied for 15 years from the date the project begins production and business activities; Exempted from corporate income tax for 04 years from the date of taxable income and a 50% reduction in payable tax for the next 9 years. Projects in the list of investment incentive sectors and having great economic and social impacts that need to be encouraged more, are submitted by the Ministry of Finance to the Prime Minister for decision in case of need for greater encouragement.
  • Personal income tax: Vietnamese and foreigners working in the Economic Zone are entitled to a 50% reduction in income tax for those with income subject to income tax.
  • Export tax, import tax: Goods exported and imported in the following cases are not subject to export tax, import tax:
    Goods exported from non-tariff zones to foreign countries.
    Goods imported from foreign countries to non-tariff zones and used only in non-tariff zones.
    Goods transported from one non-tariff zone to another.
  • Value added tax:
    Goods and services traded between foreign countries and non-tariff zones and between non-tariff zones are not subject to value added tax.
    Goods and services sold and provided in the duty-free zone are subject to a value-added tax rate of 0%.
    Special consumption tax: Goods are not subject to special consumption tax in the following cases: Goods imported from abroad into the duty-free zone. Goods sold from the domestic market into the duty-free zone and used only in the duty-free zone. Goods traded between duty-free zones, except for passenger cars with less than 24 seats. Land and water surface rent: Exemption from land and water surface rent for the entire lease term in the following cases:

投资激励政策

在廷武-吉海经济区投资的项目,按照快捷的投资登记程序办理,颁发投资登记证书,并根据投资法、土地法、企业所得税法、进出口税法、合作社法及其他税法的规定,享受针对社会经济条件特别困难地区的优惠政策,具体如下:
